Volunteer with Sambhali U.S.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of Sambhali U.S., and we welcome your passion, your experience, and your energy. With a diverse team of volunteers spread across the U.S., we operate virtually, making the volunteering opportunities highly flexible to work around your schedule. We also offer unpaid internships to current college students. Volunteers can support activities of one or more of the following committees:

Development

Support the annual development plan by creating proposals and stewardship pieces for current and potential donors; identify and research potential individual, foundation, and corporate donors; assist in cultivation efforts and write acknowledgment letters. Strong writing skills and project management experience are preferred.

Communications

Create and disseminate social media content; update and maintain our website; write content for our website and newsletter; engage in other special projects to enhance awareness of our organization. Experience in online marketing, website development, or other areas of communications is preferred.

Finance

Assist with reporting donations, conducting state registrations, researching financial matters, analyzing financial statements, managing insurance issues, and performing other financial-related tasks for the organization. Experience in finance and accounting is preferred.

Volunteer Engagement

Conduct outreach efforts to recruit prospective volunteers for Sambhali U.S. and Sambhali Trust from universities, nonprofit organizations, and other institutions; organize volunteer orientations and engagement events such as Volunteer Appreciation day. Experience in volunteer recruitment is preferred.
